NICE RESORT
Staff very friendly in restaurant, reception and room cleaning staff. Pool was nice with enough sun beds around.
There was no entertainment and in the evening and night it was very quiet. Anantara Kalutara resort had quite a few entertainment. Your restaurant was pricy. This resort is quite far from normal shops and restaurant.

Convenient all-inclusive holiday for family trips
On-site service from the staff was excellent from front desk to housekeeping to bar and restaurant staff. Managed my most important requests to make the stay quite comfortable for my elderly in-laws. Breakfast spread is good; the lady managing the hopper station is doing great work
Communications from the reservations team prior to arrival was frustrating. Payment apparently had to be made by clicking a link but this was unfortunately also the period when hotels on this site had been hacked and the reservations team did absolutely nothing to assuage my concerns about the scam. No fans in the covered outdoor area so not the most comfortable in this very humid country Room interiors are a bit tired and they had some nice outdoor water features but the one outside my room (122) wasn't maintained and had stagnant water = breeding ground for mosquitoes Pictures can be a bit deceiving; the age of the property was not reflected in the promo pics on all the websites and the pool was way smaller than I thought it was going to be Pool closes at 6pm which is a bit early; would have appreciated a night swim with less people, the pool was super crowded during the day so I ended up not using it

The location and facilities were exceptionally good. Pool was very good. Staff was courteous and they went out of the way to help us with the food
Breakfast buffet options could have been better, probably was related to the fact that the occupancy was lean. However food options of dining At Anantara was a bonus
